SHHK Leap Award 2025 飞跃教师奖

The annual Listening Educator for Advancement and Progress (Leap) Award recognises exceptional educators who believe that their students have the potential to excel beyond their capabilities.

This year, the Award received a total of 329 nominations from 198 schools, with each school limited to two nominations. Of the 329 nominations, 20 teachers were recognised with the award.

We are proud to share that our HOD ICT Mr Soh Ming Quan is one the 20 awardees! And this is the second consecutive year our teachers have been recognised in this award! Congratulations!

We Celebrate Mdm Irfana Begum Ikbal! The Listening Educator for Advancement and Progress (LEAP) Award, was launched by the late President S R Nathan in 2011 and awarded by Singapore Hock Kian Huay Kuan annually to recognise exceptional teachers who have made a positive impact in nurturing their students from the heart. It is a strong affirmation for a teacher’s belief in the potential of student’s potential to excel beyond their capabilities. This year, the Award received a total of 234 nominations from 154 schools. We are proud to share that our very own Mdm Irfana is one of the 15 teachers to be presented the prestigious award by Minister Chan Chun Sing! Congratulations Mdm Irfana! May you continue to touch lives and inspire them to Care, Connect and Contribute!

There are three categories of recognition: - Fellow of Academy of Singapore Teachers - Associate of Academy of Singapore Teachers - Partner of Academy of Singapore Teachers The following teachers have been recognised as Associates of Academy of Singapore Teachers.
